Meet Koko, an adventurous and fun-loving koala from the New England National Park in Australia. In her free time, Koko enjoys climbing trees with her friends and eating eucalyptus leaves as her midday snack (the crunch that accompanies every bite is so satisfying!). Ever since the recent bushfires, however, her home and favorite hang-out spots have been utterly destroyed. Now, Koko can no longer have climbing contests with her friends or experiment with new eucalyptus recipes! She’s been separated from her friends and family and has yet to find a place to call home. Luckily, recent activities and fundraisers from various organizations have helped her reunite with her family and find another park to relocate to. After her unfortunate experience, Koko aspires to spread awareness about forest fires and habitat destruction!
