Bibi
Meet Bibi, a hard-working and charismatic Hampshire lamb from Singapore who lives on the sixth floor of a luxurious apartment with a beautiful city view. When he isn’t participating in fashion shows, altering clothes, or dressing up, Bibi can often be found shopping! I mean, who doesn’t love a good thrift shop haul once in a while?
One day, as he was scrolling through Instagram, Bibi came across a post showing children working under horrible conditions in third-world countries like Bangladesh, India, and China. This was extremely alarming as he was unaware of how widespread this practice was even today. He did some more research and, to his surprise, found that many of the big, well-known brands he purchased clothing from used child laborers! He felt disheartened knowing that so many young children around the world were being forced to work. And for what? Just so he could wear a nice shirt? From that point on, Bibi decided it was time for things to change.
To draw attention to this issue, he stopped supporting large, well known companies that used fast fashion and eventually started his own sustainable clothing brand. Now, Bibi has made it his #1 priority to spread awareness of the immense number of companies using child labor to create their products.
